Ok 1997 Gmc suburban k2500 truck

This is not lifted

It is 8600 lbs

350 motor

Nothing fits

Stock shocks are about an inch short

1-2 in shocks don't compress enough

This fat bottom girl is killing me

Any suggestions

Perhaps you received the wrong "stock" length shocks?  How do they compare with the shocks you took off?

I always tell people to bring the old shock with them into the parts store so they can match them up. The GVWR rating does help in many cases but sometimes bringing the part in is better.
