16 silverado crew cab mounting bolt

Im about to buy some of the chrome 6" square side steps for my 16 CCSB, selling for 100$. Was wondering if anybody knew what is needed hardware wise to get them in IE: bolt size and thread, any clip nut insert things or what have you. Guy says nothing is included, steps only. Is there any more hardware that comes with this besides bolts? Thanks in advance

Can't remember off hand the thread pitch. 8x1.25 or 10x1.50. You will need a tap to clean the threads though. I put some on my buddies truck and it was way more work cleaning the threaded inserts than mounting the boards. I had it on a hoist too.

Hey thanks man even though its an either or anwser, I at least have a starting point which rules out a bunch of things. I appreciate it. I think the nut serts will be the biggest pain in the ass but I think the rest of it will be an easy trip to the hardware store
