Hello ,new to the site, I have a 2019 Silverado LT 5.3 8 speed. having issues with vibration and shudder when braking that continues after you let off the brake.  One dealership says its DFM and thats just the way it is and i;ll have to live with it. Second dealer says its the torque converter and it normal operation and they cant do anything until i put 10,000 miles on it.Anyone else heard of such crap.

Exactly; crap... When they tell you BS like that say, Ok lets go drive 10 other trucks on the lot and if they all do it its normal. That's what gets me. When someone brings a vehicle for an issue it's always "normal". That's not normal.

its the 8 speed normal, its flawed from the start.

I have an 8 speed with zero vibration or shutter issues. May be a hit and miss problem with some trucks IDK.

My shudder still happens after the dealer did the trans flush with M1 fluid per the TSB. Not as prevalent, but it's still there.
