Hey guys, just took delivery of a 2020 crew cab AT4 with the 6.2 absolutely love the truck! I have seen a lot of mixed reviews on which leveling kits and tires to go with so I was hoping you guys could help me out. From just looking at the truck the way it sits it appears a 2" level would be just about perfect to correc the factory "rake". I do not want to go with a much bigger tire than the stock ones but i do want something a little more aggressive and bigger, what size do you guys recommend? I like the factory wheels but I may go with an aftermarket wheel I am still undecided. Have there been any issues with the cv angles, ball joints or aftermarket tires rubbing on the UCA? Appreciate any and all feedback you guys can provide. Thank you!

Our trucks are very similar except I have the painted flares with 18" wheels and Duratrac tires. I recently ordered a 1.75" front leveling kit from zone offroad but haven't had a chance to install it yet. Your wheels look great!

I went with the Ready Lift 1.75” level with UCA and Fuel 20x9 wheels. Have been happy with that decision considering some the ball joint failures showing up from those who leveled without an UCA on TB/ AT4

Looks great. What size tires did you go with? Any rubbing? No problems so far with ball joints or cv axles?

Try a seach - lots of threads on this - I went with RL 2" SST kit which comes with UCA's - Method 18" x 9" - 0 offset wheel - stayed with stock 275/65/18 duratecs for now.  With 0 offset wheel I might get 285's or 295's on there - anything wider would rub on UCA.  CV angles are more than I would like, but seems to work fine.  Ride is same as stock.  Only downside is RL recomends you do not use auto 4wd - as the engaging at speed puts too much torque on cv axels and can cause damage to front diff.  Your get 2" from factory and 2" from level - so 4" of lift in front - CV's really should have drop bracket for front diff for anyting over 2.5" - so this set up is outside OEM specs and if you have issue, you will not get warranty if you go in with level on truck at many dealers.

You can buy the SST kit for AT4/TB at Tire Rack for $510 - cheapest place you will find it - figure 4-5 hours for install, then alignment - so $1,000 +/- all in for level kit installed by 3rd party.

Tire rack sst kit: https://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?autoMake=GMC&autoModel=Sierra+1500+4WD&autoYear=2020&autoModClar=Crew+Cab&make=ReadyLIFT&model=SST+Lift+Kit&group=&cat=Lift%2FLevel+Kits

For a nice level at reasonable price it is a good way to go, but you do lose auto 4wd - if you want to keep that you need to go with full lift like BDS that offers drop brackets for front diff and much better shocks - but you pay for that.  Photo of truck, of cv axel angels at rest - wheels straight and clearance of tire to UCA.

275/60/20 (33”) No issues 10K later. Could fit a wider tire but with these I can turn full lock to lock even with suspension compression.

Truck looks awesome man! Looks like it sits perfectly level. I will have to look into that 2" SST kit, I like the fact it comes with the UCA. My stock tires are 275/60/20 what is your opinion on 295/60/20 (keep stocks wheels) after the kit in installed? All in all looks like its about a 1" bigger tire and 3/4" wider. I am thinking that shouldnt cause any rubbing but dont want to make the mistake.

Got the ready lift 1.75” front. Fuel 20x9 1 offset. Dealer had 285/60/20 on and it rubbed quite a bit on the inside fender so ended up going back to 275/60/20. I do have mudflats on so lost 1/4” or so of clearance. Looking close where it rubbed you could trim some of the wheel well out to make it work.

That looks awesome man, love the look ! Thank so much for all the details. Wheels look like they stick out father than I would have thought for +1. Just roughly how much do you figure they stick out?
