Did you consider whipple or other brands? I am looking right now for my 6.2 and the PCM unlocking is where I am unsure. Did you get a second PCM or do the PCM exchange and lose your original core?

Mind sharing the cost breakdown of the PC vs HP tuner etc?

Currently

in the process of installing the procharger. Any tricks or ideas on how to get the crank bolt

off? I’ve tried 650lb impact driver but only 8 gallon compressor? I’m thinking that might be to small?

Tried the breaker bar with a pipe extension also. That bolt is actually welded on there ...

Stronger impact with more air behind it.

I couldn’t get a hold Of either. But I talked to an auto body shop they said to heat the bolt up for about ten minutes then try cracking it. Basically I just took a propane torch to the center of the bolt and held it for 10 minutes. The bolt cracked easy after that. I let the bolt cool down before fully unscrewing it after. Looked as though there was some locktight on the bolt head and a little heat managed to loosen that up a bit.

Another question... what’s the clearance on the main bracket and the alternator pulley? When I fully tighten the main bracket bolts the pulley and bracket are touching... I removed the top long spacer and bolt and it seemed to open up the gap between the two but only about a 16th of an inch... I measured the spacer and it appears the top one is a 16th of an inch off of the what the numbers are in the directions. Just curious if the main bracket and alternator pulley are really supposed to be that close or if there if more of a gap you think?

Found the issue. New spacers being sent from procharger. That about sums up how this installation has been lol

You exchange your original pcm. Ship it to HP tuners and they send you back an unlocked one. They send you everything you need to do this. Make sure you have a windows os. I used parralels on my MacBook so I can boot the windows os anytime no need to restart the computer or buy a separate laptop.
cost is the same as on the hp tuners website for the exchange service on chevy pcms it’s included into the price for the procharger kit.
