2004 chevy silverado z71 torsion bar issues

Did you measure the angle of the hexagon on the old v/s the new arm? I am betting the arm is bad or wrong application, the P/N is not a guarantee that its correct. What was wrong with the old arm?

Did you use a torsion bar loading/unloading tool to remove/install the torsion bar key and bolt?

The ball joint was out and the control arm bushings was rotted. No i didn't measure got two different ones and same problem on both. Yes I used the torsion bar tool

going to order both oem control arms and hopefully it will fix the problem

Just make sure you put the torsion bars in with the label/tag to the control arm.

I don't pull the torsion bar all the way out I just loosin it up and let it hang there

I know this thread is 6yrs old, but I am running into this exact same issue. Rebuilt entire front end, one side will load correctly and the other side will not. Clocked both the same way when letting suspension droop, but one key does not want to load no matter how or what I do. Did you find the issue? 
 

me being dumb and thinking the parts were good, already trashed the old ones to compare slots.
