is there anyway to tighten up steering on 2500 to be more responsive like 1500 or is it just what it is?.....read about pitman and idler arms but not familiar with them....also what about steering stabilizer shock?.....my first 2500 so these are all new to me....thanks

yeah its bit more "vague" than 1500 i had but it could just be the trait of a 2500....

You don't want LD steering feel on a HD if you have trailers or payload.  Steering gets more sensitive when you have a load or trailer.  You will be constantly correcting the steering going the road and this will be fatiguing.

In addition, the vagueness on center helps dampen out tire wheel balance / uniformity.  LT tires cannot have the tight road force targets as p metric or hard metric tires.
