Denali Magneride rear block

I did a 2.25" suspensionmaxx front leveling kit on my 2017 Denali and was thinking of adding a 1.0" rear block to get a smidge of rake back. Are there magnetic ride control sensors for the rear shocks? Because I dont see any relocation brackets or hardware in the suspensionmaxx kit. The pictures of the kit only show the blocks and u-bolts.

My understanding was that the magnetic ride control sensor was located only on the front suspension of the truck.  I could be wrong.  I was also thinking of installing the same leveling system as yours “ Suspension Maxx “.  Are you happy with it?  Difficult to install ?  I have a 2018 Sierra Denali Ultimate and the rake is pretty severe.  Don’t wanna go too crazy, just an 1”1/2 or maybe 2”.  I also have a strange noise coming from rear suspension every time I pull in and out of a driveway.  It’s like a bouncing spring or loose shackle sound.  Hard to describe.  My coworker told me it could be the suspension U bolts that hold leaf spring pack .  Any thoughts ?

Yes, you will need to get a longer rod that keeps the same angle between frame and leaf spring mount. You can actually use all-thread from a home improvement store and pop the ends off the factory rods, but you'll want to carefully mark your angles. If not, you'll need a programmer to do a reset of your magneride system to zero out the new angle. A dealer can perform this, but you'll obviously have to factor in additional cost to do so.

Bummer. I was hoping that was not the case. That sounds like a PITA

Yes, there is a MRC sensor on the front end. The suspensionmaxx kit comes with a nice relocation bracket to maintain the factory calibration. Install wasnt too bad, a buddy and I did it on a lift in probably about 2-3 hrs taking our time. You can do it on jackstands. Honestly the hardest part was breaking the ball joints loose.

 

I did 2.25" because I didn't want to be nose high with 2.5". Depending on the slope, I am pretty close to level. Maybe 1/4"-1/2" of rake. I still tow a lot and wanting to keep a smidge of rake. Thats why I was considering adding a rear block now.

Yeah I ended up buying the x-ineering magneride bypass kit to not deal with it. Pricey, but it allows me to do whatever I want with a lift and make changes without messing with it every time.
