Infotainment Split Screen

Just got a new truck, 2020 LT Trail Boss, and trying to learn as much as possible about the truck. I tried doing a search about the split screen option on the infotainment, but couldn't find much information. Im not sure what the proper name is for the screen im referencing, but I included a picture. Is it possible to change the navigation on the left side of the screen. I use Waze on road trips and connect via USB to CarPlay. Is it possible to get Waze as the navigation on that screen?

Not at the moment.

Maybe once apps update the allow them to be set as default apps (iOS 14 feature). But neither Waze nor Google maps allows that yet.

On the very bottom left corner push those group of squares and it will switch between the split screen and the full screen

This is correct. You can only split screen with the default infotainment apps and music
