2014 silverado...add factory nav/car play

what is the best way to add factory navigation ( dont want to pay for onstar } and also add apple car play  ??  better to just add an after market head unit with those options ??

 

this is a 2014 siverado z71 8" factory screen

You’ll need to get a 2.5 HMI, radio compatible with your truck. I have an HMI that will allow you to gain CarPlay after programmed. Hit me up if interested.

other than keeping the stock look ... why not just go after market head unit with car play and nav ??  would also have pre-amp for future amp/speakers    just asking
