Hello!

I’ve had growing concerns over an issue while in reverse. Occasionally when I go into reverse, generally it’s when I first start the truck up, I’ll start in reverse and it will act like the rear wheels are locking up or something is causing a weird jolt, which happens two or three times then it stops. Has anyone experienced issues with this or know of any resolution?

also, I just got this truck and it has terrible body alignment gaps, the doors are all off and both front doors stick out, almost like they don’t close completely. If you look from the rear of the truck to the front along the side, you can clearly see the door sticks out. Has anyone seen issues with body alignment gaps and do you know if dealers can fix this? I’ve already had numerous issues with this truck and it’s only been a month.

I've heard that the gaps aren't adjustable but might want to talk to a few body shops to see if that's just lazy techs at GM.  As for reverse, not sure, I don't have this issue.  Could be the G80 or the trans.  Would need to bring it in for a look

How long do you wait before you put it in reverse?

My 8 speed does kind of the same thing when it's cold.  But I do let mine warm up for a couple of minutes and it doesn't do it but if I start the truck and put it into gear 20 seconds later, it'll "jump".
