Oil in your intake is not uncommon. Look at the many threads/posts about catch cans  people running. Even the 800 series captures oil. Your valve cover should have a fixed orifice not a traditional rattle type PCV. Another words it just has a very small hole in the bottom of it and no rattler. I've never had the occasion to replace one on a 800 series so can't help you.

When I bought my '04 sierra with the 6.0l, I also went for replacing the pcv, wound up basically crushing it, then twisting it out with visegrips.

Didn't need to do it (as like txab says, it's just a small hole in the bottom), and naturally the local parts store didn't have the right one (their parts system just came up with a rattle can one), had to order the right one through the dealer.

I second just leaving it alone.

Around the same time, I replaced the knock sensors and intake manifold gaskets, and when I did that, I found that the bottom of the intake manifold was filled with oil, to the level where if any more was deposited, it would run into the cylinders.  I poured it out, and reinstalled.  It's probably filled with oil again now (5 years, around 100k km).  Engine has been running fine.

If you really want to, the thing to do would be to install a catch can...
