2017 Silverado - door handle base replacement?

Hello! This is my first post so thanks for the support. 

 

I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 that was parked in the driveway of a house that burned down. The truck is mechanically undamaged, but some plastic bits got melted, including both passenger side door handles. In attempting to replace them, I got inside the door and saw that the door handle base itself is melted. I haven't found any info about how to go about replacing that specific part. Does anyone have any experience with that?
