Braking

I was wondering if anyone has heard or felt a clunking sound coming from the front brakes when coming to a complete stop. If so, is it normal or not?

My oldsmobile used to do that whenever the wheel lug nuts weren't torqued properly. Big problem too because if the wheel and rotor are slipping on each other, it will eventually weaken the studs. I lost two on my olds because of that. I haven't heard it on my truck yet.
