I'm back plus AC Crap...

Hey everyone,

I hadn't posted or even checked board in a while, so I'm a little behind. But unforutnatly my AC Compressor has kicked the bucket. Does anyone know which refridgerant 94' Silverados use? I'm hoping its 134A, but I just know with my luck its that expensive a*s R12. Anyone??

Hmm....your 94' is a 5.0...mine is a 4.3...make any difference?

All 94 came from the factory with R-134a. There should be a sticker on the top of the dryer/accumulator that lists the refrigerant used. This sticker is supposed to be replaced if a different refrigerant is used by a shop.

Yea there should be a sticker. I really doubt that the engine would make any difference.
