Instrument panel backlights not working

Hello everyone,  currently having issues on my 02 z71 1500. The instrument panel backlights aren't working.  Everything else on the dash works fine (AC controls,  4x4 selector,  warning lamps, radio, even the needles on the gauges light up) THE ONLY BULBS NOT WORKING ARE THE ONES THAT ILLUMINATE THE GAUGES THEMSELVES.  I'm pulling my hair out and would love some ideas on getting this going my way. Thanks guys

Did they all go out at once or one at a time?

Very common problem in that era, this should give you an idea what is involved to change the bulbs.

They all went at once.  I have already taken the cluster apart,  and the bulbs looked fine
