One thing I wish for in the navigator system is an option to choose routes that are suitable for use with a trailer.  I'm thinking along the lines of the Garmin RV 785.  Input the combined GVW, trailer height, and length.  Nav system will then route you in such a way that you do not encounter roads that don't allow trailers (e.g., parkways), low over passes, or bridges with weight restrictions that are too low.

It would be nice to see this on future HD trucks, or, optimally, as an upgrade available for retro-programming on current trucks.

I'm not aware of any other heavy duty pickup manufacturer offering this feature, and if GM were to be the first, it would in line with the engineering philosophy that resulted in the class leading towing electronics/camera/safety system now on offer.

I agree that would be a great feature it's a shame google also hasn't added this to their maps feature

I'd like it if there were actual meaningful / timely updates available.  There's a new road here that's been active for about 6 months that shows me driving in a field when looking at the nav screen.  It doesn't seem to be difficult to automate a download to the map card on a weekly or even monthly basis to reflect large changes like this.  Google is very current where my 2021 vehicle map.looks a year out of date.

I’ve said it before. If one of the big manufacturers can partner with Apple or Google for use of their maps/updates it will be phenomenal.

GM wants like $175 a year for map updates.  It's kind of ridiculous when you can buy a new Garmin with Lifetime Map Updates and Traffic for less than that.
