I inflate my stock size 18" tires to 36psi, I like it a little firmer.   I always do it cold (haven't driven in 10+ hours).  When I check the pressure in the center dash screen, it's always like 3-4psi higher after driving a little.  Anyone else experience this?  Does your dash match the pressure you put in?

As you drive, your tire heats up from the road contact/friction, which over time will heat up the air inside the tire causing an increase in pressure. Some tires will more than others but it's normal to see this.

Normal.  dram1983361 pretty much nailed it.

Also to add to this, every 10 degrees of temperature either up or down results in a 1psi change.  So if on a 30 degree day its at 35psi when you hop in the truck for the first time, on a 60 degree day it will start out at 38psi.

The sticker inside the driver door and pressure on tire is always rated/checked(cold). Like the others mentioned about the change in temperature the pressure will change accordingly.
