iPhone Screen Mirror - is this possible?

I have a 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali SRW standard bed length.  I would like to be able to mirror the screen on my iphone or ipad on my truck's factory screen in the dash.  Has anyone figured out how to do this yet?

Also, I am new to this forum/website, so if there is a way to search the thread for this topic, tell me how to.  I briefly tried the search feacher in the top right hand corner, but did not find anything.

Should be able to mirror the Apple Carplay items on the screen.  Carplay has to be enabled on phone and truck.  Phone, I believe, has to be plugged in for the Carplay to work on the 2020.  The Projection icon should change to Apple Carplay icon and then you can select it to see phone mirror.

It will only show certain apps, not mirror all apps. Make sure you use data cable for connecting, not charge cable or may not work.
