2011 Interior Door Handle replacement

Has anyone had to replace an front door interior handle?  Mine let go and I took it to the shop to get fixed and was told that I had to replace the entire door panel as GM did not make to part any more.  I've looked al LM truck and found the part but not sure if it is the same thing I need.  Any suggestions?  Anyone got a parts manual?

Are you talking about the handle to open the door, or the pull handle to close the door?  If you're talking the pull handle, then, yes, you do have to replace the door panel or come up with a solution on your own, like this one...
