My truck: 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT.

I am getting ready to replace the seat heaters on both seats, seat bottoms only. While looking for the parts, I watched a youtube video that the gentleman included the part number he used, he was working on a "16 Sierra 3500, ventilated bucket seats, looks just like my '15 Sierra 1500. I went looking for that part number, it seems that there is a different part number for the 1500 compared to the same option 2500 and 3500. I was curious if someone could enlighten me on really what the difference is.

What I have found from several of the online GM parts sites:

1500 part number 23170194

2500 and 3500 part number 23223774

I looked at the cusion part number and they are the same.  Weird

I am betting someone here knows exactly what the difference is.

Thanks

Phil
