So I’ve been seeing people with leveling kits with 35’s and 17in wheels, which is crazy I was thinking of doing a 4.5in Zone lift and having 35’s with 17in rim +1 Offset, I wanna know if anyone out there is running 35’s with 17in wheel on a 4.5in lift. Local dealer told me 4.5 wouldn’t work due to the wheel being too small and I’d rub on mechanical parts, which now I find hard to believe seeing 35’s with 17in wheel being run with just a leveling kit. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

I have 4” lift on 35’s but went with 18” wheel for the extra clearance. My thinking was a rock could wedge itself between wheel and other parts when off road.

Hey Andrew... a leveling kit with 35's will rub and trimming fender and bumper may not be enough to clear at full turns.  Here is a link from custom offsets featuring 17" wheels and various tire sizes.  You can click on the pics to see if their set up requires trimming or not.  To be honest, if you want to clear 35's you're better off with a 6" lift (my two cents).  Good luck!

Im running roughly 34" = 285/75/17s on a my eibach 2.5inch level with some fender liner trimming. You can definitely run  35s on a 4.5 youll just have to pick your offset correctly. I believe mine were +0 or-6
