Which Lift Kit???

Recommended Posts

4” Ready lift. BFG KO2’s (35x12.5R18) on Mickey Thompson rims. I trimmed the plastic on the rear of the wheel wells and a little off the front. I didn’t take any before measurements of the lift difference so I have nothing to compare it to. I’ll take some pictures and post.

Finally bit the bullet, made a decision and ordered my parts.  Now have a Fabtech 6” Gen II Magneride lift, set of grey Fuel Rebel 20x10 -18 wheels wrapped with 35x12.50r20 Toyo Open Country AT III’s.

I’m terribly impatient so the wait for the stuff to arrive is gonna kill me.

Im going with the Rough Country 3.5 on the 2018 2500hd Duramax. Ordered Fuel Assault 20x10 -18 offset, wrapped with 33x12.50x20 Fury Hunter RT. Im looking for a Dual steering stabilizer and some 1-1.25 diff drop spacers..... I see Fabtech has a single , but really want double this time.

Cost me a bit more than I wanted but in the end it's all good.  $1500 for the lift, did the install myself with a little help from a buddy.  Wheels & tires were a little more than twice the price of the lift, so a little over $4.5K for the whole thing.

Gotta take more & better pics but here's one...

What's your budget for everything?

If you're not ready to drop at least $6000+ just for the lift, wheels and tires, and another $1200-1500 to install it, and a bunch of other stuff you'll want after you lift it, put a level kit on it and new tires call it a day.

Don't be so afraid to spend money and roll like me and my pal Frankie.

Oh and let's not forget my Bro covetedstyleemoji857.pngemoji857.pngemoji857.png

BTW I went shopping for you....

Thanks man.  Wheels are Moto Metal, but I hated the fake rivet look so I had them painted solid black, and TOYO Open Country AT.

Honestly, I'm not sure which McGaugueys they installed, but the kit is really nice.

yup, sounds about right.  Nice truck!  My lift, wheels, tires, etc. came to a bit over $4500.  Did the installation in my garage with a buddies help which saved me $1000+.  Just had to buy beer & pizza.

Let's see more pics of the truck.
Looks like it's set at 7" or 8"
Front tire looks a bit snug in the wheel well. What size are the tires? Mine is a McGaughys at 9" w/ 37's for reference.1b9f660d05a1f1f33787e50d1095227f.jpg
