Buzz/Rattle in Cold

Do these things rattle and buzz more when it's cold out? I have now developed this nice noise, but it's harder to pin down than one might think. Sounds like it is coming from behind the drivers' side door handle, but I am thinking it is coming from the fuse cover area where the defrost vent is. Anyone else have this happen to them?

You sure that is where it's coming from and not echoing from somewhere say.. on the dash?

 

When it's cold as hell outside, the vent in the dash gets that same rattle sound.  Some others have found messing the the bolt(s) underneath?  can help

Definitely not the dash. It’s on the side, not in front

Interesting.. can't say I've heard that one.  We've been in the single digits for a couple weeks now here in northern IL too

Do you happen to know where the missing bolt is? Maybe I can look for it

Do you know which bolts to mess with?
