Failed Magneride at 20k

Looks like I was not able to avoid a shock and strut failure on my 20k mike truck. Looks to be passenger sides failed forsure which gives me the lean on the right side; luckily it’s on warranty until September. I can’t believe they just haven’t solved the problems with these things since 2007. Truck is a 2017 that was purchased September 2018.

Positive side to this story.

 

Had to replace both rear shocks (Magnaride) on our 2016 Tahoe out of pocket, was not cheap.
