I have a 2017 Silverado 5.3 and I ordered a single in/dual out pro xs on the way. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if I need an offset adapter off my extension pipe so the factory extension will go to the center inlet of the muffler? I want to have all the pieces I need, so I can install myself and bring to a shop to weld. Slip fit tailpipe recommendations would be appreciated also

If you bought 3" inlet it will slip over factory 2.75 pipe. I didn't need any offsets or anything with mine.

You didn’t have any problems with tailpipes being tweaked or anything? That would be ideal so I can just get some prebent tailpipes. I thought the factory inlet pipe was 3”, that is what the pro Xs is.
