OPT7 bar - what do I need?

Something is wrong here.  If the harness remains unplugged, power never comes back. 

 

Plug in the light?  Comes back on after a few seconds.  I'd expect the pop-up on the screen but this should behave as if I have a trailer and not cut power

Narrowing down where the issue is here. 

 

Hooked it straight to 4 prong.  Turn on driving lamps.  Works

 

Turn signal immediately flips whatever that is off for a few seconds and resets.

It looks as though I will be hardwiring this. I hooked it up to my friends Toyota and it works fine

Last post about this.... Hopefully it saves someone time. 

 

The Putco connector that Kodiak mentioned WILL NOT WORK. 

 

It in itself messes with the system.  The one that J2 mentioned works flawlessly. 

 

In the end, two options.  Hardwire or use the more expensive connector.  Lights are now working
