Rear LED strip lighting

So I'm looking at LED strip lighting for the rear (between bumper and tailgate).  I'm looking at his one:  https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07K2NRJK8/?coliid=I29ZZSO90PEXT&colid=5JOFUPAEZFQ0&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

 

It comes with the flat four pin connector, which I assume would plug into the trailer plug on the bumper.  But that just seems  a tad silly to have exposed wiring.  Anyone know if there is another 4 pin connector back there or if I will need to be taping wires.

 

Anyone else installed similar lighting?

Your assumption is correct, it is intended to be plugged into a 4-pin trailer connection. No, there is not another 4-pin connector on the truck.
