I have a 2014 Sierra 2500HD Diesel Denali and I'm getting the code P2495 that relates to the EGR valve or circuit or some part of it. The truck has 145K miles on it and it's been trouble free except for the DEF tank heater that had to be replaced.  Has anybody else had this issue?  The DIC tells me the power will be reduced in 145 miles, but not much else.

I've been building custom cars and rebuilding classics for going on 55 years now and I can't imagine that nobody else has had this issue yet.  Thanks.

I tried to fill out the profile, but the system just cannot accept the fact that I do not have facecrook or twiddle.  And I don't want them.

Thank you Silveradosid.  It probably does, as everything I've been able to find indicates replacing the EGR valve and cooler bypass.  I'm not looking forward to that, as it's quite a job.  8 hrs. minimum.  I don't mind spending that kind of time working on my old cars, but these newer ones are a pain.  It took me 2 hours just to change the fuel filter!

Yes it does!  I've been retired for about 15 years now and it's great to have as much time as it takes to do whatever I'm doing.  But this kind of crap isn't fun!  It reminds me of work!  I also have an 02 Silverado 2500hd and it doesn't have all the same junk on it.  I bought it to pull my car trailer around and it does a great job.  I really do like the Duramax engine and Allison transmission combination.  There's really nothing out there that I've seen that performs better.  Although I'd look at anything that could.
