Checking to see if anyone has had continuous alignment issues with their 2020 Silverado 1500s? I have a 2020 with just over 5,000 miles on it and have been to the shop 5 different times now for alignment trouble. Each time fixes it briefly but then before too long it is off center again. If I am on fairly flat ground moving, the steering wheel sits cranked to the right slightly and it will hold the lane fairly well if I take my hand off the wheel for a moment. Does not veer. It is pretty rare the wheel centers again until I am actually stopped. Feels like the wheel is constantly turned to the right slightly running in town. Is this a steering assist of some sort Chevy has? I talked to a friend who has a 2020 as well and he is not having this issue. The other issue I am having is that when I am backing out of my driveway and I turn the wheel most of the way to the right and into the street, the truck will make a fairly loud pop in the suspension of the driver side front wheel only. You can feel it a bit in the steering wheel as well.
I lost faith in the first dealer I took it to after the first few times and took it to another Chevy dealer in town this past time for a second opinion. Still having issues after they put it on their rack. Help!!!

I have a 2021 RST.  When I picked it up the steering wheel was off centered to the right. Brought it in and had it aligned. Then it was off centered to the left. Brought it in again. Now it's off to the right again. I give up.

 

It does drive straight though.

When turning hard one way or the other and you hear a POP, more than likely a ball-joint issue. Many techs will check alignment and fix what they see at that time. When you have a out of center steering wheel issue the front end alignment needs to me completely redone from the start. Simply getting one side back into alignment does not fix all issues!! The problem with all vehicles shops these days the techs are required to go by the appropriate vehicle service manual which tells them step by step what the troubleshooting/repair procedure is. They are not allowed to deviate from the manual even though at times common sense tells them to do so! This is because GM, Ford, RAM, etc is footing the bill for a warranty repair and will not pay them to do something that is not in the manual. Most dealer mechanics are also paid "By the job". If it takes a mechanic 1 hour to complete what the book says takes an hour, he is paid for 1 hour. If it takes him 2 hours he is still paid for 1 hour. On the other hand if it takes him 30 minutes to complete it, he is still paid for 1 hour. All that being said, "Most" dealer mechanics will rush through jobs to get as many jobs completed in a day which in turn puts more money in his and the dealers pocket. So, what all that means is "Most" dealers could care less if the job gets the problem fixed or not. If it does great, if it doesn't the manufacturer will pay them to work on it again!! However, a "Non-Dealer" shop will do whatever it takes to fix the issue because once they are paid they don't want the vehicle back to be fixed again on their dime!! Sorry for the rant but having repeat issues with vehicles over the years, and knowing a GM Service manager, I know this to be fact!

I am having the "pop" also.  After 3 trips to the dealership and it getting elevated to their senior mechanic, they found that there were damaged alignment pins that were allowing the assembly to shift.  They have ordered a new kit that is supposed to be more robust, so we'll see if that fixes the issue.  Alignment is a known issue on Silverados on the upper control arm also, due to the adjustment slot allowing creep.  There is an aftermarket with holes instead of a slot.  I may have to go that route also.

I had the problem,I have a 2020 Silverado RST I took in for repairs right lower control arm was bad discovered the alignment pins were missing never installed in assembly
