What is the GM link to determine the axle size of my 2016 Silverado 1500 LTZ 5.3L V8-gas truck? I've been Google searching and a couple results brought me back to this forum, but I'm not seeing how I can determine this through the GM website.  If nothing, then how can I get this info otherwise?

Count the bolts, that's the easy way.

 

You have a 12 bolt 9.5 rear axle, that is the standard on the 5.3's in a half ton.

 

Trucks with the 6.2's run a 9.76 rear axle.

 

The older trucks before 2014 run a 10 bolt 8.5 rear end.
