Go to all your local parts stores and get prices on an all metal aftermarket radiator. The plastic OEM radiator is a very poor design and fails on a regular basis. Be sure to shop around for the best price.

Yup. I'm on the third in my 92.

Most of the aftermarket stuff I found was too costly for me to be able to justify.

But....Like I said, I'm on the third one, so an aftermarket one might be the best route.

Good luck :sigh:

A few years back when I had to replace the radiator in the '91 Suburban I had, I went down to Auto Zone (or O-Rielly's, can't remember) and picked up a new replacement. At the time, I thought that the price wasn't too bad and it had a life time warranty...

Bolted right up and had no problems with it.

I just picked an OEM replacemnt from Pep Boys for $200. I hadn't read these replys yet. I had great service with the original unit, about 200,000 miles so I thought that was a way to go, particularly at that (cheap) price. Not sure what I'll do.

Thanks, I suspected there would be an opinion with something with plastic tanks.
