Exterior Door Handle coming off

Door handle is coming all the way out. Just the handle part. Anyone know a quick fix for this?

I dont know of a bush fix. There are detailed steps to swap this part out though, it looks like that is your only option.

I think it's missing a piece on the door handle. There should be a part that goes inside that hole where the handle came out of the "body" of the handle. You'll need to remove the door panel to see if you can find it. If it's broken which I think it might be then you'll need a new door handle.

 

Or the metal lever that pulls on the latch rod came out of that hole that is why it won't open the door. Either way you must remove the door panel and handle from the truck to fix this.
