Another parking sensor post: I have been battling parking sensor issue for 1.5 years now. I get a ghost false signal when stopping and going 50% of the time. I’ve been to the dealer 4 times and they have replaced the front center sensors multiple times and reprogrammed the module. Still have the problem.

Has anyone else had these problems and found that one ah-ha thing that fixed it? Because I feel the dealer is simply doing the same thing over and over again. It’s f*#%ing annoying. I don’t even think I’d be able to sell it with this issue.

I have an autocal tuner, does anyone program them to be permanently disabled or default disabled using a tuner?

I get false signals occasionally and just hit the off when it happens.  Annoying, but not the end of the world.

They've replaced the sensors, but not the harnesses in the bumper?  I'd be suspect of a faulty wiring harness so something like a wire in there or fretting (electrical corrosion) or actual corrosion on the terminals in the plugs.  Could be in the plugs to the sensors but the connection point I'd be interested in looking at is where the harness plugs into the body side of things.

The main 16 way connector for the harness into the chassis harness should be center driver's side of the bumper.  If one of the sensor plugs is junk, or you need the main plug, you have to get the whole harness.  P/N 23261390 for 2014-2015, 2016-2018 its 23274031.

If the 16 way on the chassis side is bad, they sell a pigtail for it.  2014-2015 use 19259857, 2016-2018 use 19354087.
