I am researching recovery Winches and systems for my new 2020 Chevy 2500 Diesel.   Im looking for feedback regarding the use of a front receiver to put a winch mounted in a receiver hitch mount  or getting the bumper with a mount plate to house it permanently in the front of the truck  Pics are appreciate

I found a good deal on a used receiver mounted winch.

Then when I went to set it up I realized that a receiver mounted winch is a jerry rig.

Plus what I thought was a good deal I had a hard time selling it for half of what I purchased it for.

well sorry you had bad luck    I take it you ended up buying a bumper mount for you winch?
