When early in the morning my 2020 Silverado 2500 has a longer than normal crank in it. It sounds like it is trying to get fuel but just takes too long. Check engine light came on and have had it in shop twice. Anyone else have this issue?

This may or may not be your issue but... In today's new vehicles when you push the start button or turn the key the ECU is going through checks and balances to make sure every module is working properly to fire that engine without a problem. It does this by cranking it for a few seconds before it adds fuel. If it takes a little longer to check, your motor will crank a little longer. You should hear my ZL1 sometimes it fires right up, sometimes it cranks for 3-4 seconds and it's never the same.

You could be having another issue but this may also be what's happening.
