Plug behind license plate

Anyone know what this plug is for located behind the rear license plate?

Do you have the trailer hook ups to the left of the plate?

Yes. I have both 7 pin and flat trailer connectors.   Was thinking it might be the option for trailer TPMS or trailer back up camera???

Behind the rear license plate is where the trailer TPMS receiver is.  But it's not as easy as installing one and plugging it in.  You need the advanced trailering system in order for the receiver to work and it's not an option you can add aftermarket.
