climate control cluster questions

Hi first time poster here i was wondering is the climate control cluster in a 2018 silverado ltz serviceable? The backing light on one of the buttons blinks

when the headlights are on. dealer diagnose charge 100 bucks used cluster on ebay 75 bucks light buld pennies on the dollar. thanks in advance.

Nope.  Part of the control head.  Are you out of bumper to bumper?  

 

I wouldn't waste my $$ on a used one just to get it and its got a bad light or it goes out in a couple months. 

 

Get a new control head.  

 

84258729 is the OE with rear window defrost for your LTZ.  If you do NOT have rear window defrost, you want 84199205.

yea i got rear window defrost (84258729). The button with the red arrow is the one that blinks don't think spending a hundred bucks is worth it. Thanks for the info tho. 28200 miles on the truck just ran out of warranty on the 3rd month of this year.

How did you run out of warranty at that mileage?
