So since I’ve traded in my old truck and have a new 2021 RST, I’m looking at new seat covers. I had katzkins on my last truck that were nice. I’m considering going a little more cost friendly this time around. That being said there’s a couple that I’ve seen and wondering if anyone has some real life experience and pictures showing how well they fit.

I’m looking at the clazzio covers as well as these unbranded covers on eBay that look eerily similar to katzkins. Maybe a Chinese clone?

Anyways, if anyone has info/pics on these two or another leather/leatherette option, let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Your link is for replacing the cloth seat covers, unless that is what you're after. I took your post as wanting to cover up what you have now. Sorry if I'm reading it wrong.

Either one. Like I said, they look similar to katzkins which I installed on my last truck. These are seat cover replacements, the clazzios slip over the existing. I’m looking to see if anyone has experience with either.

I purchased a Roadwire kit from my local truck accessories shop for about $600.  I wanted roadwire because I couldn't find a Katzkin kit that wasn't perforated(wanted non perforated because I thought it'd help stay clean because perforated has holes for sand/dirt)for me to purchase and install myself.  The shop I bought from installs the Road wire and since he lives across the street from me he didn't mind selling me the kit and letting me do it myself. He also let me talk to the guy who does his installs for pointers but youtube has some good videos on how to install.  The only issue with youtube that I had was that there weren't any videos of installing the rear seat back that had storage or an armrest which wasn't too hard to figure out but I wanted to see someone's install on the arm rest to see if I could make a tighter fit on it when in up position.  The two kits mentioned above you take the cloth covers off and install the leather in its place.

I had Katskinz installed as a dealer option which included heated seats. Very pleased with the leather and while pricey (~$2K), it's held up well (only 12K miles) and feels great.

"Fake leather" = it's vinyl.
