Trailer wiring issue

So I have a 2005 2500 and for some odd reason when I turn my left turn signal on it will put power through both turn signal wires for the trailer plug. I checked power at the panel on the side and sure enough it’s the same thing. Anybody ever run into this same problem?

If it's just the left signal the puts both on (so the right signal just puts on the right light), then I would expect the problem to between the turn signal switch and the bcm, either the switch is busted inside, or some of the wires from the switch to the bcm have rubbed through somewhere.

It’s really hard for me to explain it lol I called a good friend of mine who is one of the best mechanics I know and I had to try and explain it to him 3 times lol turn signals on the truck itself work just fine. It’s just affecting the trailer plug.

I think the trailer connector ground is faulty or one of the trailer turn signals is missing ground.
