I have a 2017 Tahoe . Bought brand new and noticed the hood doing the same thing as yall described!

I followed-up on the above email provided by customer service and got a reply back from GM corporate in a couple of days.  I laid out my paint story for an 11 year old truck along with an invoice to show the trouble spots were already repainted.  I just cashed a check from GM corporate for paint compensation.

We are a local detail shop in Dallas TX (https://ceramicfx.com). This is a known issue of black GM paint (Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, Escalade etc.). Here are some pictures from our archive. The first five are from an Escalade., and the other three are from a 2015 Yukon.

Hi did you find anyone to help you?  Customer service says it’s normal wear and tear but it isn’t like this on my other trucks. My red suburban looks the same way and Chevrolet customer service says it’s normal? I want it fixed. Can you tell me what you did?

I have a 2018 Tahoe and it started to fade within the warranty period. Took it in and they blamed on the carwash. I understand there is an open lawsuit on this. Does anyone have any updates.
