Just as the title says I'm curious what are the biggest tires, if any, I can fit on a stock 2016 Silverado with no lift and 20" rims?

I don't want any rubbing or have to do any trimming. My current tires are P275/55R20's

Have you tried searching for what is the most commonly asked question on any car forum?

A few of the probably thousands of topics over the years...

Thanks, looks like those links are all referring to 18" wheels. My question is regarding 20", but thanks. 😉

What difference does the rim size make?

All you care about here is the overall tire size and not the rim size. So like 32in tires, 33in tires etc etc.

A 275/60/20 will fit.

You don't really believe rim size doesn't make a difference do you?

I mean I'm certainly no tire expert myself, but looking at comparison tool over at tiresize.com using the exact same size changing ONLY the rim diameter size (the last two digits of the tire size) and it shows rim sizes DOES in fact make a difference.

A 2" difference... just in wheel size. 😍

I think you are missing the point.

Smaller rims runs different tire sizes to make them the same as larger rims. Doing a quesstimate would be like a 265/75/18 is equal to a 275/55/20.

All you care about is overall tire size and not rim size.

I lowered 17 LTX rear 1.75"from stock and have Michelin LT285/65R20 on. The fronts barely rub the felt liners at full turn lock. I would say these are the max with 11.1" section width and 34.5" diameter.

I have been searching the web for a direct answer to this and decided that this thread gave me enough info to roll the dice.

I just installed 295/60R20 BFGoodrich Mudterrain KM3s on my completely stock NO mod 2021 AT4.

There is a slight rub in the wheel well but nothing a little trimming won’t fix. I do not want to void my 100,000 mile warranty so I’m not going to get any additional lift unless these tires create problems (any info on this would be helpful).

The truck looks pretty bad ass. Huge fan of the AT4.
