2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 AC blowing hot air and engine cooling fan is on.

So a few days ago I added a little bit of RF 134 to my AC system because I noticed it not being as cold as usual and while adding the refrigerant the cooling fan kicked on and then the fan sped up to quite a rapid speed. I drove to work the following morning AC blew cold air and everything seemed fine. However when I was leaving work and started my truck the AC was blowing hot air when I was driving it and I noticed that the engine cooling fans were on the whole time the AC was on. Today I noticed once I turn off the AC after a few minutes the fans turn off and don’t come back on until I try the AC again. Could it be a bad thermostat? I had the AC compressor replaced 2 years ago and it has never had a problem until now. I also noticed that if I use the remote start on my truck it automatically kicks the AC on and fans kick on as well
