1989 Chevy Full size 4x4 Blazer rear housing

I need help figuring out if I can use the rear differential housing out of a 1990 4x4 suburban in my 1989 Chevy 4x4 Blazer.

A new ring, pinion, and Carrier is currently in the Blazer but the rear end housing is shorter than factory (must have been switch out prior)

I know that 1989 was the first year for a 30 spine axle and found that the axles are slightly different in length, Blazer 31.313 length verses Suburban 31.375.

Can I use the housing out of the suburban in the blazer?

I want to return to factory

If the rear diif is a heavier unit, leave it be.  If the original was a 10 bolt, I would of replaced it too.

Existing is a 10 bolt but shorter than needed, factory.  I need to know what truck uses the same differential as the 1989 Blazer 4x4, or a location to get diamentions?
