I have a 2007 nbs sierra  With a 5.3 and A4L60E. I wrecked the truck but the drive train is still good. I have a 98 GMC Sierra short Bed single cab Is that I am putting it all into. The question I have is about the harness from my 2007 how much do I need to take out To install it in the 98

The complete engine and transmission harness with fuse block. That is all you need to run the engine.

 

The factory computer will have to be unlocked so the VATS system can be turned off. Then make sure you have the proper fuel pressure to run the LS engine and figure out the rest for what you want to do for gauges.
