Parking Break Stuck on

I bought a camper trailer and pulled it home last night. Since we got home late I forgot to unhook the lights and it drained my battery. I had to charge it this morning to get it started. Now the parking break is stuck on. I actually didn't set the parking break it came on by itself. I have tried restarting the truck several times but break still will not disengage. Any suggestions?

How long did you charge the battery?

Check battery voltage. May not be fully charged, Should be 12.5 volts at least.

Thanks for the tip. I just put I back on the charger.

When I put my truck in gear with the PBrake on, it automatically disengages itself when I hit the gas.

 

Mine is a 2500 though. May be worth a shot.

Same thing works on the 1500.

I fully charged the battery, tried unhooking battery and leaving it for an hour and tried putting in drive and moving forward still nothing. I am having it towed to dealership tomorrow. I will update when problem is diagnosed. I appreciate the help thanks for advice.

Did you try manually releasing the brake?  See instructions from manual.
