Christmas Day plans?

I'm waking up here at home. Spending the morning with SiiLT and our parents. Then i'm off around 10 to meet up with my GF and then make a trip to her aunts house in Cape Cod for the evening.

We had an afternoon with my wife's grandparents (grandfather is a triple Purple Heart recipient from WW2, first at Utah Beach on D-Day ), then went to the in-laws for the evening. I got an early Christmas present from my wife, a roll-away Craftsman tool chest, along with the top half (5 drawer tool chest) from the in-laws. Each piece is black (to match the Z-71). Tomorrow we will have our tree and then load the Yukon for the 3 hour trip to my parent's house (near Portland, ME) and then come back tomorrow night.

My son called from Camp LeJeune on Sunday and said he wouldn't be able to make it home until New Years, so we postponed everything until then. Weds morning he called back and said a buddy who is scheduled to ship out to Iraq offered to pay the gas if he'd drive him to Ohio for Christmas, so we're back on. I guess I'll be cooking later today.

Went to my fiance's parents last night, then when she gets home from work today (nurse), we are going to my parents for dinner and gift exchange.

Heading over to my grandparents in a bit for christmas day brunch. Other than that I'll probably be playing Call of Duty or Battlefield 1942 online for most of the day (as I did last night when I got home, dang games are just addictive).

Then later if it's not too freezing out I'll walk over to candy cane lane and take a stroll around. For those who don't know, which would be all of you, it's a neighborhood in West Allis (about two blocks from my house) where all the people go all out decorating there houses. I dunno how it came to be, but it's a sight to see every year. I'm going to walk over there because driving is a pain in the you know what. I feel sorry for the people that live there. If they need to leave there homes at night they either need to give themselves and extra hour to leave there houses or park there car a few blocks away.

I have a cool job to do today. Friends of my wife and I bought their daughter a VW Bug for Xmas.

They have been keeping it here at my house for the last week.

Later on today guess who has to dress up in a Santa suit to deliver the car and pull the gag on their daughter. Should be fun. We have big ribbons and bows for it.

Naturally we are having the big family meal this evening too.

Well yesterday, went to my Grandmothers and had dinner over there, then went to another get together at relatives' house. Then got up this morning and opended presents then went to dinner again with some family. Lots of eating for sure, it was great!! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!!

Timmy & I had the whole family over. My two sisters and there hubbies. My four nieces and one of their boyfriends. Timmy's son, his wife and Timmy's grand-daughter. It was fun. We opened presents and had a great dinner. I made enchiladas, beans and rice...oh and tamales. It was great. What made it better is it was pouring down rain all day. My sister told me it had been 20 years since we here in California...had had rain on Christmas Day. WOW I had no idea. We also had some great news to celebrate. My brother was home from the hospital and was able to spend Christmas with his family. He had had a heart attack about 2 weeks ago and had to have open heart surgery. He went home Christmas Eve. We were all so happy.
