Power retained with driver door open

2004 Chevy Tahoe LT

When I shut off the truck, remove key, and open the drivers door, retained power (10 min) stays on. Everything on the door works, the truck just doesn't know it has a driver's door....no door ajar alarm, no key in the ignition alarm, no anti-lockout.... What part could be out?

  Hi All, I am curious whether using the dashboard display for transmission fluid temperature is considered acceptable when setting the transmission fluid level after a pan drop, filter replacement, and fill. I have a 2021 gas/6L90. Thanks

  Every place on the hi-way is up , lowest is the truck stop, $3.93/ 87, the others haven't broken the $4 barrier yet but getting damned close. Lowest diesel $5.73. I haven't checked local yet but I bet they are over the $4 mark. I've been shopping for a type C motorhome and trying not to buy a Ford, found a couple diesels but the price of fuel is scary
