99NCAA Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Any suggestions for cleaning the "leather-like" material used on the dash and door panels in the Serra Denali? I have tried Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer Wipes and Chemical Guys Total Interior, but was hoping to come across something that does the job better. Any suggestion are appreciated!
shakenfake Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Pretty sure you are referencing the Vinyl. Currently I am using a turtle wax interior spray bottle cleaner that does the job fairly well. I'll get the exact information when I get off work
Z714Mike Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 I use 303. Believe is also has good uv protection as well.
99NCAA Posted October 6, 2021 Author Posted October 6, 2021 Thank you. Is this the 303 you are referring to?
Adamace1 Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 I have always used the same products that I use on the rest of the interior the soft touch plastics are still plastic. Any leather surfaces maybe seats and steering wheel use a leather product. But I may be wrong but all the other surfaces are plastic but there just soft touch plastic.
Z714Mike Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Yes, that’s the 303, also comes in a gallon size FYI.
Matt G Posted October 7, 2021 Posted October 7, 2021 Also use 303 on every surface but the seats. It Works great I use an actual leather conditioner on the seats due to not wanting any residue to form in the perforated seats. I thought I read that is a concern with 303 on the seats
Electrobri Posted October 7, 2021 Posted October 7, 2021 I always thought the dash and doors were carbon fiber imitation of leather have been using Armorall or McGuires Leather conditioner.
shakenfake Posted October 7, 2021 Posted October 7, 2021 Couldn't find the bottle of my turtle wax interior stuff online anywhere so it must be discontinued or something.
ratman6161 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 Plain water and a micro fiber towel. I've found many cleaning products seem to leave everything streaky and looking worse than I started. 1 1
dirtfan21 Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 Adams Polishes Interior Detailer and then Leather Conditioner for the seats. Swear by both in my wife’s Acadia Denali and the interior detailer in my RST. 1
