I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4.8L 294Cu. In. V8 GAS OHV  

When I got it several years ago it had one fob that seemed to work fine. But about a year or two ago it wouldn't unlock with the fob. Changed the battery but that didn't help. So I bought two new fob's on Ebay. I programmed the new ones and one worked locking and unlocking for a few days but then it quit unlocking like the old one did. I have tried to re-program them but the program doesn't start correctly, it does the lock and unlock cycle when I turn the key to off instead of when I release the unlock button on the driver's door. I am replacing both actuators when I receive them. Driver's side had been replace previously, but I am going to do it again. Any suggestions?

There is a little transmitter somewhere that has been reported to go bad. It is just for remotes. You may want to check that out.
